The photo shows yogi Ravi Dixit in the retreat he created at Polem Beach, South Goa, India, the birthplace of yoga. “When we built our retreat, we wanted it to be a place where you can be at one with nature,” he tells OM. “A place where the quiet beach and sound of the ocean are natural remedies for our stressful busy lives. I love spending time alone with the ocean. Sitting here on the rocks surrounded by the power of nature and the sound of the waves brings me instant peace and a natural state of meditation.”
