Mantra of the month

Mantra - I embrace change

2020 was undoubtedly a difficult year for most. A lot of unwelcome change bringing on high levels of anxiety, stress, and for some, depression. We were forced to shift into new ways of being, living and working, which naturally affected us all in different ways.

Moving into the new year, the future is still uncertain but let’s use this opportunity to journey on with a positive outlook and embrace change. Perhaps your daily routine is different, perhaps it’s brought on challenges. Ask yourself what could you change to make it better?

Maybe your work life is significantly different now. What could you do to improve your happiness at work? Talking from experience I know it can be scary to quit a job and move on, to move house and go somewhere new, but like I always say in my teachings, you are stronger than you think you are! You must listen to your heart and trust that the universe will deliver what’s meant for you at this moment on your path. If the shift in change over the last year has brought on negative feelings and emotions in any part of your life, you must try to move away from that and make it better.

Try this pose...
Utthita Parsvakonasana (Variation)

This pose is perfect to accompany your mantra. Use this variation with your front arm reaching for what you want to invite more of into your life. Keeping the core engaged for stability and grounding.
