Choosing the perfect yoga outfit goes beyond style. It’s about feeling your best while being able to flow freely throughout your practice. While the beloved legging is still — and always will be — a yoga and pilates wardrobe staple, other trouser types are growing in popularity. Searches for ‘yoga trousers’ are up by 11% since last year, whilst corresponding searches for ‘yoga leggings’ have seen a drop of 4%.

These harem yoga pants are so versatile. Created from BAM’s classic jersey they begin with a soft, supportive double-thickness waistband which then falls into a gentle, loose fit through the leg, tapering to gathered ankle cuffs. The harem style design enables a complete range of movement whilst staying put in any pose.
Horizon Twist Yoga Pants £49
This dynamic design is crafted from BAM’s new super soft 100% organic textured cotton jersey. It is a flatteringly, stylish take on a relaxed, twisted seam trouser, with a generous tulip shaped leg that tapers to the ankle for easy movement. Best of all, designed to be recycled, it is certified by the Circular Textiles Foundation.

Made from BAM’s classic bamboo viscose fabric, these soft, stretchy Pleat Palazzos will take you from the yoga studio on into your day. It has an exaggerated wide leg and a comfortable high, elasticated waist. An ingenious side split at the hem enables you to tie these palazzos at the ankle so they stay put in inversions.
