In March 2020 I completed my Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India, which was a profound month. I learnt an immense amount of knowledge from some incredible teachers guides, and it’s been an honour to pass on learnings since returning. I adore seeing my students flourish in their own unique practice. Other than teaching yoga, I love to spend my days designing yoga products for my independent company, Zen Bear.
My journey in discovering yoga is similar to so many. I was going through a dark time and struggled with processing emotions. I discovered yoga and it was probably the first time I truly learnt to breathe. Big, deep expansive breaths that had a profound effect on my stress levels and mental health. I fell in love with the physical movements as well as the breathwork and ability to completely let go; to surrender to what is or isn’t. Life became more of a fluid river than a tidal wave, so I’d love to share this healing practice with others. In March 2020 I completed my Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India.
