Holly Austin Gibbs is the director of a human trafficking response program for a national healthcare system based in the United States. In 2014, Holly published her personal story in her book, Walking Prey: How America's Youth are Vulnerable to Sex Slavery (St. Martin’s Press). In 2019, the prologue chapter of Walking Prey was chosen as a runner up in Memoir Magazine's #MeToo Trigger Warning Nonfiction Essay contest. Holly has contributed to Huffington Post, Elite Daily, InDepth Magazine, and many other sites. As part of her healing, Holly practices yoga, meditation, and other activities that promote positive health and well-being.
