Marisol Trowbridge
Marisol is a strategist and speaker on a mission to humanize work, and creator of The Messy Human, a newsletter.
Marisol Trowbridge is a strategist on a mission to humanize work. After a creative childhood in Maine, joining Corporate America was a shock. Two decades later, plus a masters in economics, leadership in the Fortune 500, and a lot of Yoga, she uncovered why: dehumanization. Trends that undermine human potential are driving diminished workforce engagement, innovation, and joy, which in turn hamper economic growth. Today Marisol teaches research-backed mindset shifts to create healthier workplaces and unlock our greatest gifts. You can find her work at www.marisoltrowbridge.com and her writing at www.themessyhuman.com.
Qualifications
Marisol has been practicing yoga since 2015, when a visit to Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas transformed her experience of marital separation and sent her on a path towards a harmonious divorce. Since then she's practiced yoga regularly, at home, in classes, and all over the world. Yogic teachings and practice strongly influenced her life, career, and leadership development as she rose through the ranks in Corporate America, then made a major transition to something new.
After a career in economics, corporate strategy and consulting, she now focuses on charting a path for a more enlightened future of work. By integrating regenerative practices and fostering our inner wellspring of energy and creativity, we can find the balance between doing well and feeling good, and move away from outdated extractive models.
