Huzur Vadisi (meaning ‘Peaceful Valley’ in Turkish) first began in Turkey over 30 years ago and has been facilitating retreats ever since, expanding to also offer beautiful venues in the UK, Europe and beyond. This long experience means you can simply relax and focus on your yoga while they take the best care of you. The retreats are also known for the delicious veggie food that’s served up (the Huzur Vadisi Cookbook is available on Amazon if you’d like to know more!). There are a lot of new things to look forward to at Huzur Vadisi in 2025. That includes a relaunch of the original venue location at Huzur Vadisi, Turkey, with the centre now welcoming enquiries for the 2025/26 season from yoga teachers. The return to the original flagship location follows a change of ownership and a year of refurbishment.
New Ownership
The new owner (Mehmet )is committed to a sustainable small-scale rural concept in keeping with the beautiful natural surroundings and with the ethos created by the original owners (Ian, Jane and Tanfer). With 27 years’ experience in hospitality management behind him, the new owner has poured his heart into bringing Huzur Vadisi into the present with its upgraded facilities, while maintaining its essence, and looks forward to welcoming new yoga groups.
It’s the same location in the peaceful pineforested valley, amidst the olive groves, the same fully-equipped yoga shala, but now additionally features beautifully designed and curated facilities in keeping with the natural ambience, with stylish ensuite accommodation, refurbished public spaces and a new pool. Only 10 minutes from the Mediterranean coast, it offers a combination of peaceful seclusion and access to the sea, shops and excursions if you want to get out and about. There’s a choice of venue and accommodation to suit all tastes and pockets from luxury to simple rustic. Prices begin from around £875 for seven nights, varying with each venue and teacher.
