Love Lavender
Join yoga teacher Amanda Wass for the ultimate outdoor experience this summer
Set in the dreamiest of settings (who doesn’t love lavender fields?), join yoga teacher Amanda Wass this summer in Surrey for an amazing outdoor experience that’s the perfect tonic after a year of on/off lockdowns.
Enjoy a gentle, uplifting vinyasa session overlooking the lavender fields at Mayfield Lavender Farm in Banstead, Surrey.
Classes run every day (except Monday) at 6.15pm-7.30pm (Wednesday mornings at 7.15am) through to the end of August.
Fully immerse your senses with the calming smell of lavender, take a stroll among the lavender fields, and get 10% off at the farm’s cafe (make sure you try the lavender ice-cream!).
“When the day trippers go home, we will roll out our yoga mats and have the farm to ourselves to unwind, stretch and bring about those feelings of calm and rejuvenation,” she tells OM.
But, Amanda, what happens when it rains? “Good question! We will take our class underneath the lovely picnic tents and enjoy yoga in the patter of rain and be sure to smell the lavender even more so!”
It’s perfect if you’re looking for that ‘something different to do’ at the weekend or you want to experience the most stunning yoga 'studio' around — Mother Nature at her finest!
