Mantra of the month
Often when we are faced with a challenging situation, whether it be related to work, relationships or anything else, we automatically put ourselves down and don’t believe we have what it takes to face things head on and come out better off the other side.
But, in fact, If you follow your heart, try, and know you did your best, then that is an accomplishment in itself. We mustn’t let the fear of a situation stop us from progressing. Instead, use this mantra and tell yourself you are brave, you are bold and you are fearless. As the saying goes: feel the fear and do it anyway.
It’s in our nature to care too much about what others think. What if I fail and look silly? What if I make a fool of myself?
In being true to yourself you will gain more respect from others and, in turn, for yourself. We must stop living in fear of making a mistake because mistakes will always happen, that’s life.
We learn from our mistakes. We learn from failure. We grow stronger through tough times. We only get one shot at this life so don’t let yourself hold you back. You have the power to accomplish all that your heart desires, but you first must believe and have the courage to go get it.
Often the fear is just an emotion in your head. Research has shown that over 80% of our worries and fears never actually happen. Fear can seem so real because when you experience it, your body will react in the same way as if the fear is real. Your mind cannot differentiate between what is real and what is imagined.
Whatever the situation may be, hold your head high, be brave, be bold and be fearless. Embrace the challenge, your future self will thank you for it! Try this pose... Handstand This pose is perfect to accompany your mantra. Use a wall if needed and get upside down! The more you practice, the more comfortable you will feel being upside down. If you’re new to Handstand practice then seek out an experienced teacher to guide you first.
