Mantra of the month

I am grounded

Try this pose
Tree Pose (Vrksasana):

This pose is perfect to accompany your mantra. Stand strong and feel grounded. Warrior poses are also good for keeping you feeling strong and grounded.

During tricky and uncertain times, it's understandable we may feel anxious, insecure and perhaps a little lost. When a situation changes due to circumstances out of our control a sense of unease and fear can creep in. In these moments of difficulty, take some time out to sit with yourself, feel your breath in your body, feel what it's like to be you living in your body and feel grounded. Know that you are safe, you are supported and begin to find a sense of comfort within that space.

When we sit, lie or stand in complete stillness and turn our focus inward focusing on the breath we start to tune into that sense of heaviness, feeling the energy from beneath us rise and fill us with positive grounding energy. Tune in and listen to what's going on physically and mentally and with every exhale let it go. If you can't let it go, let it be. Start to feel heavier, releasing tension with every breath and become more grounded physically and emotionally.

When you find this sense of grounding through meditation, try to soak up what that feels like and try to keep a sense of that feeling with you throughout your day and come back to that feeling whenever you need it. Over time it will become easier to maintain. Once you find it you won't want to let go
