The photo shows Rob Lahoud enjoying a spot of yoga in Kosciuszko National Park, just one of the countless stunning landscapes of Australia. “I have a passion for expressing yoga in natural landscapes,” he tells OM. “Places like this are sacred and special to me because I feel an overwhelming sense of peace, groundedness, stability; I feel completely held by Mother Earth.” It’s a magical place. The rocks lit up as the sun was peeking through the clouds and the dense fog. “It’s an incredible feeling to be part of this unique environment; experiencing the elements, rhythms and cycles of nature. These mountains have been a sacred and a ceremonial place for our indigenous people for tens of thousands of years. There is a deep and peaceful wisdom that emanates here.”
