Welcome

There is a well-known saying about planting trees which I think can be just as apt for yoga. The saying goes something like this: the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, but failing that, the best time is now.

For all those yogis out there who have been practicing for 20 years, bravo. But for others who may have put it off until now, then today is as good a time as any to start.

We’re here to help you get moving. Inside this issue, we have everything you need to help plant that tree once and for all, to start that yoga practice that will grow strong roots and bear fruit in the weeks, months and years to come through better health, greater confidence and self-awareness.

Read on for inspiration, ideas and information to begin something great. You’ll get a flavour of all-things yoga, from practical yoga sequences, healthy recipes and accessible spiritual insight to the latest cool new yoga kit and foodie products.

Making this ancient practice accessible to all is one of OM’s founding principles, so there’s something inside for everyone, no matter whether you’ve been practicing for two decades or two minutes. It all counts!

And with the season of spring now upon us, there’s no better time to invest in your own personal growth story — you are the flower that lights up the earth.

So, turn off the television, put your phone down (unless you’re reading this on your iPhone!) and boil the kettle for some tea, it’s time to settle down for a quiet read and take the slow road to awesomeness. From little acorns, mighty oaks grow
