So what’s the deal with sugarcane?
We all need to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and this does just that. Sugarcane is grown to produce sugar, and normally the fibrous residue is treated as waste. Water-to-Go takes that waste and allows it to ferment, which creates green eco-friendly ethanol. It then reuses the fibrous material, dry and compacted, to create biofuel bricks. Using these bricks to fuel two further processes, a plant[1]based ‘plastic’ is created. This new material is lightweight, durable and dishwasher safe, and is made from plants, not fossil fuels.
