The most Instagrammable yoga hotspots around the world right now, ranked!
We all need a holiday, it seems. Searches for 'yoga holidays' are on the up and have risen massively in the last 12 months or so, according to a study of online activity and social media posts. But where exactly are people jetting off to?
In response to the higher levels of interest, experts at Planet Cruise (planetcruise.com) have put together the top yoga hotspots from around the world, based on Instagram activity, to inspire your next yoga adventure.
Bali takes top spot with 667 million Instagram posts; also in top spots are Kerala in India and Morocco in North Africa.
In fact, there are three destinations in India, the birthplace of yoga, with Mysore and the Himalayas region also making the top 10, alongside Kerala.
"Yoga travel has grown in popularity over the past year, with searches for 'yoga holidays' up 376% in the last 12 months and the hashtag #yogatrip being used 127K times on Instagram," the company stated.
Closer to home, some of the most Instagram-worthy yoga locations include Cornwall in little ol' England, as well as glorious Ibiza in sunny Spain.
